Why? Because some stupid lawsuit forced them to change the name and to honour Douglas Adams, visionary of computer supported collaborative writing.

NVIDIA non ha, per ovvie ragioni, ancora ufficialmente dichiarato quali saranno le prossime evoluzioni della propria famiglia di chipset nForce 4, ma è prevedibile che nelle prossime settimane venga introdotto un nuovo modello, dotato di sottosistema video integrato on board.
Il nome in codice del nuovo chipset NVIDIA è C51G, con la sigla G ad indicare proprio la presenza di sottosistema video integrato on board. E' dalla famiglia di chipser nForce 2 che NVIDIA non propone una soluzione integrata.
La famiglia di chipset nForce 4 abbraccia un segmento di mercato abbastanza ampio, dai sistemi di fascia media sino alle soluzioni top di gamma. Quello che sino ad ora è mancato in questo segmento è stata una soluzione di fascia entry level, dotata per l'appunto di video integrato così da permettere costi di realizzazione ancor più limitati.
La disponibilità di un chipset di questo tipo, del resto, è allineata al generale livellamento verso il basso dei prezzi delle cpu AMD Athlon 64, oltre alla prossima disponibilità di processori Sempron basati su interfaccia Socket 939.
E' presumibile che il sottosistema video integrato in questo chipset sia derivato dalla soluzione GeForce 6200, con architettura UMA per la memoria video.
